RIP Helen of Troy

Helen of Troy bit the dust yesterday, halfway through my hairdrying. I think it's safe to say that she's done for good, since smoke came out of the button area. As we were on the way out, I quickly evaluated possible scenarios and concluded that leaving her outside would be best, until a fire hazard is ruled out.

Oddly enough, Randy didn't ask about it when he walked by this scene on his way home from work. Later when I mentioned it, he said, "Well, first I thought that the children put it outside, but when I came in and the children smelled like parmesan cheese and you were upset, I forgot all about it."

It must have been a pandemic. My beloved bit the dust this week too!
