Today, Ethan asked me if the gestating baby is nude (or "nudie" as they like to say , since I may have called someone "nudie booty" as they streaked through a room sometime). I replied, "Yes, when you're born, you aren't wearing clothes." He asked, "Not even underpants???" This time, the thought of a newborn wearing tiny underpants even made me giggle with them.

What's so funny 'bout peace, love and underpants?
So, we're going through a phase where any reference by one child to underwear is guaranteed to prompt a giggling fit for both of them. They discovered this the first week of preschool when a classmate presented his "All About Me" project (yes, there was homework the first week) and mentioned his underwear. Apparently everyone in the class thought this was the funniest thing they had ever heard and responded accordingly.

Out of the mouth of babes! That's awesome! Just picturing a newborn coming out wearing Elmo undies. :)
I can so relate. What is it about underpants that make the kids laugh. Read "Froggy Gets Dressed." It will give them a laugh.
Hope you are feeling well. Not too much longer.
We STILL laugh about underpants in this family.
With boys, it never gets old.
