Cars 2

After months of anticipation, Cars 2 has hit the theaters! The night before we went, Ethan was giddy as I tucked him in.

We took the children to see it at the IMAX theater, along with everyone else in town.

Our reviews: Randy said it should have been called Cars 2: Tokyo Drift. I agreed with his assessment. It was part Cars, part James Bond, part Fast and the Furious (and it gave me a slight headache - 3D or close seats or both?). I love that they named the Italian racing competitor Bernoulli. Ellie was squirmy the whole time and liked the purple car, Holly Shiftwell. Ethan liked Mater.

The children are fascinated to learn that movies, for a time, play EVERY DAY at the movie theater. They think this means we're going back over and over. Ha!
