This is one of our 2 year old lime trees (plants?), which has finally produced a lime! They are outdoor plants in the summer, but need to be protected inside from our colder winter weather. We had been watching this one little lime for months. It's amazing that no child or dog caused it to drop prematurely!
My single lime slice was delicious squeezed into a glass of water. I'm sure it tasted way better because we grew it. Wonder how long before we'll get another one?
