After seeing lots of variations on hanging jewelry organizers on Pinterest, I knew exactly what to do with a plain, unfinished frame that I had been saving for a tbd project. I picked up some small S-hooks, chicken wire (or "poultry fencing," according to the packaging), and some paint.
Smiling the entire time (love this color!), I painted the frame while imagining how excited Ellie would be to have this bold shade of purple in her room. Purple shares favorite color honors with pink most of the time.
I snipped the chicken wire to match the size of the frame, stapled it to the back of the frame, and ta-da!
Ellie is not a natural organizer (neither am I), so we're going to try this out to see if she will put her jewelry away instead of leaving it wherever she decides to take it off (the kitchen counter, the floor, etc.). The space between the wire is big enough that she can also hang hairbands through it, if she chooses.
