I may be the last person on earth to visit an IKEA store.
I've just never had (or created) an opportunity to visit one until now.
While I was giddy with excitement and anticipation, Randy speculated that somewhere marketing execs are salivating over the fact that people are taking pictures in their stores.
Here's Randy test driving a sofa that speaks my language: easy care, suitable for children and pets.
Overall, I am glad we went, although we both felt a little relieved to leave the store.

Is it bad that I can identify IKEA products from photos?
We just went to the new IKEA in Charlotte yesterday, for the second time. My hubby and I have been shopping at various IKEAs on the east coast since before we were married! We heart IKEA! Even our kids love it because of the play area. They actually beg us to take them there. Hope you found some neat things!
It was great seeing you again last night! It was fun meeting new blog friends too!

I just made my first ever Ikea pilgrimage (to the one in Charlotte) last week too! I packed up my almost 4 year old son and made a half day of it. After all that running around he was exhausted...and so was I, but I came home with lots of fun stuff...I thought my husband would be slightly annoyed, but all he said was "wow, cool" and "hey get one of these for my mom for Christmas" (and now I have the perfect excuse to make another shopping trip soon!) BTW - found your blog from a link from one of the other bloggers at your recent dinner get together. Enjoyed my visit - such adorable children!
