The children are in a usually welcome helpful phase. Reading about this packing list prompted my own version. (I may be a little crafty, but clearly I'm not artsy.) The children were impressed with my artistic skills, by the way. The verdict: while they may not have followed the lists exactly, the were busy for a while which gave me time to pack my own stuff!

YES!!! Start them early packing their own things. The key is NOT to complain about what they're wearing, though.
