Generally, I have little interest in antiques. Unless it's practical or beautiful (or part of my own stash of stuff I can't get rid of), I tend to think "dust-catcher" or "clutter" when I see something old.
In the practical category, the children LOVE playing with this boat
that my 36 year old brother played with as a child on many visits to the beach.
Do your children play with any special toys that are decades old?

My mom still has a lot of my brother's Tonka stuff that looks brand new (he's 37).
And she has all of our old Fisher Price sets (the garage, the hospital, the Sesame Street set). Apparently we were very gentle with our toys because they are all in excellent condition!
