I have to admit that Randy has blown me away. He modestly says that it's only because I usually have 2 children under my supervision, but he only had 1. While I appreciate the sentiment, I am still impressed with his day with Ethan while Ellie and I were out of town.
Here's what they did:
1) Krispy Kreme - watch and discuss doughnuts being made, eat "hot doughnuts now"
2) office - discuss where Daddy is when he's at work, pick up some stuff
3) golf shop - browse and putt on the practice putting area, determine that Ethan is way too short for regular metal clubs
4) bookstore - browse, have tantrum, clean up books pulled off shelf after "Daddy do it" demand is not met
5) airport - watch and discuss airplanes, takeoffs, landings - "BIG"
6) pick up pizza for lunch
7) eat pizza at home, make iced tea
8) play
9) nap for Ethan and Daddy
10) mow grass
11) clean up garage
12) finger paint
13) eat dinner
Doesn't this make you tired thinking about it?
