What's in the Box Wednesday

We arrived at the Farmer's Market to pick up our veggie box, and no other vendors were there because of the torrential downpour we received all morning. Our farmer even added a few extras to our box, since she doubted she would sell hardly anything today.
We also had to stop at the grocery store on the way home, where I saw this scene:

I am publicly outing the guy in the orange t-shirt and jeans for waiting on the curb with the grocery cart while his lady ran through the rain in her dress and high heels to bring the car around! I'm hopeful that there's more to this story that I wasn't able to observe, but I couldn't shake the "what's with that guy" thoughts.

While I was still recovering from this, my heart was warmed by watching this couple cross the parking lot. This gentleman opened the door for the lady while holding the umbrella for her. Don't they look sweet? Oh, I'm not just sitting in parking lots waiting to take pictures of people. We were in the grocery drive through - a huge help for me that helps keep us stocked with essentials - waiting for our order.

Then, the edge of the storm appeared on our way home.

Oh! I just noticed your blog background (usually I read the feed through Google).
Did someone design that for you?
Love it!

Thanks, Heather! The background was free from www.thecutestblogontheblock.com, and they have tons of choices. If you want the details on our CSA, call me when you get a chance. It would be educational for the children, and our farmer has an open house (open farm?) each year for her patrons.

Those veggies look great...it's so gratifying to buy local and you feel so much healthier! Not so sure about the guy who sent his wife to get the car...
