Ellie loves her piggie (actually a lamb, but in our early baby stage, we thought it was a pig). She sleeps with piggie, eats with piggie, plays with piggie, rides in the car with piggie, cuddles piggie when she's feeling down, etc.
Randy found an insurance policy for piggie on ebay.
The problem: Ellie did not accept the substitute piggie. She has worn down the ear of the first piggie, so she knows the difference. Randy thought it would be a good idea to offer her both piggies at the same time a few nights ago. That way, the second piggie would get a little broken in.
Instead of getting equal ear caressing time, second piggie is just a new member of Ellie's entourage. It's one more item we have to keep track of around the house or when in the car. (Sigh!)
