I dusted off the sewing machine again, this time for a zip pouch from Amy Karol's Bend the Rules Sewing book. What a nice, simple project to get me warmed up to make this tunic. Also, I think it's been about 14 or 15 years since I've sewn a zipper into something. It's not perfect, but it's cute and functional.
Thank you, Mom and Dad, for my sewing machine! I've been so glad to have it over the years, and it still works great!
