Here's my update for Melissa's Procrastinators' Party: The After Party.

Ellie's nightstand - check. Not happy with the blotchiness, although I sanded, primed, and painted. Also, the table is not the right size beside her bed as long as her mattress set is on the floor. May use the table in the playroom/guest room on the other side of the bed, instead. You can check out the before pictures here.
Bonus coverage: I found this little table last week and decided to paint it white, too. It didn't take long for me to get over feeling bad about covering up someone's hand-painted checkerboard pattern on top.
I love it in our cottage-ish powder room!

That's a darling little stand. What a perfect size. Oh I hear you about the blotchies. Four coats of paint later and we still had them. We quit!
