Thrifty Finds - Girly edition

Don't you just love it when you find something unexpected that makes you feel happy (even if you can't really explain why, or you feel silly for feeling happy about an ordinary thing)? That's how I felt when I found this linen towel. It's in absolutely perfect condition, and the pink embroidery and trim on the white towel make me smile.

Maybe my style personality, "Inconsistent Indecisive," falls somewhere along this continuum.

I found this set of plates at the same shop. Totally impractical, as I don't generally serve miniature goodies to ladies at teatime. (They are the perfect size for a muffin or cupcake. . .) Something about them called to my feminine hostessy side, though, so they came home with me.

Lastly, since I received a grade of Incomplete for Rachel's Crochet Flowers 101 class, this book is a great addition to my craft reference book collection.

Don't worry! I didn't take all of the good stuff!

Beautiful! Where was this? BTW, I NEED the recipe for that wonderful dish you brought us last week! Talk about "comfort food"...!

I'll take Remedial Crochet with you. I have all the stuff (since I cannot just dip a toe into a new hobby).

You definitely need to bring that book with you to our next get together. We really need to name our group!
