Thrify finds - Bath Edition

Lest you think I'm out thrifting all the time, let me explain that I hit a few stores in one morning. I realized that I hadn't been to this spot since September. How do I know this? I dropped Loyda off at her school orientation retreat, then ran errands close to that location until pickup time.
Anyway, this little compote dish(?) appealed to me because of the color and style. I think it will be cute in the bathroom with something to be determined that's not just a dust catcher in it.

The copyright sticker indicates that it could very well be the same age as my brother!!! I laughed right there in the store thinking about how this dish has survived that long, but then may be in immediate peril in my home. How long do you think it can last with my preschoolers nearby? They are inexplicably drawn to breakable items. In fact, we had a near miss in a store this week with a set of glasses valued at $89.00!! ("Stop touching it and back up -NOW!")

Since there's some allure to using different potties in our home, I picked up a pair of stepstools.

No refinishing required - they look fine and will cut out a great deal of lifting to the sink when the main family bathroom just isn't exciting enough.

Not bath-related, but I'll mention that I found more of Mom's china, too.
I found a rehab project at Goodwill that day, but it deserves a solo post. More on lattice and decorative ivy sticker removal soon.

I am heading there tomorrow! I want to go to the fabric store near there so this is a must-stop-&-see place too!
