Big girl bed: part 1

Ellie climbs out of her crib consistently, but we postponed the transition to a bed as long as possible. Now, she has a mattress set to ease her into the switch.

She was clearly very excited when she came into her room, seeing the "bed" for the first time!

I told her that even though she was a big girl in a big bed now, the rules are the same. She interrupted me saying, "Stay bed . . . sun come up." Yes, sweetie, stay in bed until the sun comes up.
