This picture serves two purposes. It is the "before" picture for Ethan's haircut. His wispy, sideswept bangs look really cute here, but in person, it looks way too long! It's especially bad when it's sweaty and stuck to his forehead when he leaves preschool.
The second purpose is another baby book first. First candy bar! Sometimes, I have to take my eyes off the children, or even leave the room for a moment. This is when they use their tremendous teamwork skills (thank you, Wonder Pets) for the greater good. In this case, they found, unwrapped and started eating mini candy bars that were on my desk. Ethan walked over to me saying, "Bite, snack." I said, "That's no snack, that's chocolate" as I picked up the camera.
Here's the after for Ethan. (Ellie's makeover is not as dramatic, as she barely got a trim.)
