Ellie's big naptime adventure

Ellie wasn't sleepy for her nap, so here's what she did. She got out of the crib, out of her room, into the bathroom, into the bathroom closet, pulled the basket off the shelf and down the hall.

Great! It's the perfect stepstool to help her reach the top of the laundry chute. (Yes, we put the opening at adult height for a reason.)

Piggie has a much better vantage point from here. I'm glad they (Ellie and Piggie) don't know about the laundry chute yet. It's just a matter of time before I start finding treasures at the bottom of the chute. It's a good thing the cats are safely stowed away in the basement.

Oh, look! She went into Ethan's room and closet during his nap and pulled his clothes off the rod and shelves.

Wha?
Me: Ellie, why are you wearing a swim diaper?
Ellie: Pee pee potty.
Me: You went pee pee in the potty?
Ellie: Ja. Pee pee potty. (She thinks she's Heidi Klum, by the way.)

Yes, she did "pee pee potty" after she dripped down the hall, ditched her diaper at the door, and wedged the potty seat in the narrow spot beside the big potty. She also rolled Ethan's room with a few feet of toilet paper. She's crafty, that one.

That's why I can't have this, as cool as it is.
